Teaching Philosophy

To be teachers of all students, I believe we must cultivate empathy, encourage a growth mindset, and combat systematic injustice through the centering of critical thinking and collective action in our classrooms.

Student Engagement

To ensure no student in my class’s voice is erased, I provide opportunities for students to lead instruction and have some say in what they’re taught.
